ECDS Digital Scholarship Training Program

ECDS Digital Basics for Student Employees

Uncategorized

About Course

This course is primarily designed for ECDS student employees, but can also be useful for anyone looking for a quick guide to commonly used digital tools and resources.

During their first year, all ECDS graduate students are expected to learn the tools listed under Digital Basics unless they reach an alternative arrangement with the DSTP Program Manager. Priority should be given to learning high-resolution scanning, audio recording and editing, WordPress, as well as digital storytelling.

A reasonable timeline would have a student complete a module every two weeks, with some room for flexibility over the course of the academic year.
